3 oz. Cachaca
1/2 oz. Simple syrup (or 2 teaspoons granulated sugar)
4 wedges of lime (1/2 of a lime or 1/2 oz. lime juice)
Cut the lime wedges super thin and muddle the lime wedges with the simple syrup. Add Cachaca and shake. Dump all shaker contents (including ice and lime wedges) into a double old fashioned glass.
